It started as a normal moment in the troop—but suddenly, everything changed. Toma, a larger and sometimes unpredictable monkey, turned his attention toward tiny Alba. No one knows exactly what triggered him, but his behavior quickly became too rough for the little one to handle.
Alba, still young and gentle, froze in fear. She didn’t understand why Toma was acting this way. Her body trembled, her eyes widened, and she let out a soft cry—one filled with confusion and distress.
Before anything worse could happen, Anna—who has taken on a strong, protective role for Alba—rushed in. She ran fast and fearlessly, placing herself between Toma and the baby. With loud warning calls and firm body language, she made it clear: “Back away. She’s not yours to harm.”
Toma hesitated, then backed off, still full of energy but no longer near Alba.
Alba quickly climbed into Anna’s arms, pressing herself tightly against the one figure she knew she could trust. Anna wrapped her arms around the baby gently, rocking her slightly, trying to bring calm back to her world.
