Comments Off on Miky Feels Scared and Lonely

Tiny Miky sat all alone, eyes wide and heart trembling. His little arms wrapped around himself as if trying to hold onto comfort that wasn’t there. In that quiet moment, it was easy to forget he was a monkey — because his emotions mirrored a human child’s so clearly.
He didn’t cry out loud. He just sat there, looking around for someone… anyone.
His mother wasn’t near. The troop moved on. And Miky was left behind, caught in the overwhelming feeling of being forgotten.
Like any child, he didn’t understand why.
He only felt the silence, the absence, the fear.
You could see it in his face — the same way a child looks when they wake up from a bad dream and don’t know where to run. It’s the look of wanting to be held, to be safe, to be loved.
