Rainbow Baby Monkey’s Cry for Mercy

In the heart of the jungle, a gentle baby monkey named Rainbow lived with her mother. Rainbow was special—her fur shimmered with hints of soft colors, and her spirit was tender and bright. But behind her quiet eyes was a deep sadness. Her mother, instead of protecting her, treated her with shocking cruelty.

Rainbow often tried to please her mother—bringing her food, clinging close for comfort—but nothing ever seemed good enough. One day, without warning, her mother snapped. She struck Rainbow over and over, her rage uncontrolled. The little monkey wailed in pain, her tiny body trembling as she cried, “Please, Mama… please don’t hurt me!”

But the blows kept coming.

Nearby animals heard the cries. A wise old monkey, who had seen too much sorrow in his life, rushed toward the sound. He found Rainbow curled up, bruised and sobbing, her eyes filled with confusion and fear. Gently, he lifted her into his arms. Her mother, suddenly realizing what she had done, froze—but it was too late.

Rainbow was taken to safety by the elder monkey and a group of caretakers in the jungle who had long worked to protect young animals from harm. She was given a warm place to rest, food to eat, and, most importantly, love.
