In the quiet heart of the troop’s gathering place, young Minea has earned a reputation for her feisty and sometimes troublesome behavior. Though small, she carries herself with the boldness of a monkey twice her size. Sadly for little Chamroeun, this means he often becomes her favorite target.
Chamroeun, gentle by nature, tries to keep to himself. He prefers to stay close to his father or find comfort playing with leaves and twigs near the group. But whenever Minea appears, his calm moments are often cut short. She pulls at his fur, tugs his tiny tail, and pushes him around as if to remind him of her place above him in their little world.
Chamroeun’s quiet protests and soft cries sometimes catch the attention of Luna, another young and curious member of the troop. Luna, always eager to understand what goes on around her, watches these interactions from a short distance. Her wide eyes follow every chase, every squeal, and every moment when Chamroeun tries to slip away from Minea’s pushy antics.
Though Luna is smaller than Minea, she wonders why Minea acts this way. Sometimes she edges closer, tilting her head, trying to figure out if she should help Chamroeun or join in the rough play. Yet, sensing the tension, she often stays still—too young to interfere but wise enough to notice when something feels unfair.
