In the quiet shade of the trees, a young mother monkey sat patiently, nursing her tiny infant. Her arms wrapped gently around the baby, offering warmth, comfort, and the sweet nourishment of her milk. It was a tender moment—until it was suddenly interrupted.
An older monkey, well past the age of needing mother’s milk, crept closer. This monkey had a reputation in the troop for being a bit greedy and bold. Without warning, he tried to push the baby aside and reach for the mother’s milk himself.
